Not long that I have known you

But I've known you strong enough.

You were not my closest,

But your pure demeanor was enough.

I looked at all, yes I did care for them.

But your thoughts, I had them long enough.

They say I did not try to make you hear

I did not say anything to make it clear.

No sign, no message, no call, nothing.

But you know what, they have said it long enough.

I will make it straight now.

I didn’t know, I was clueless.

That you were a magician,

I didn’t know, that in my attempt to sway you,

I would be blown away with your honesty.

No I don’t care to win, but to win for you.

I was competitive. To win your attention, I was.

Now I know, that you were for me.

But I was too pale and stoic to realize.

After long enough, as I gather myself to make you see,

And you say it’s too late to board the ship?

Hoping that you would stop once,

in at least another long enough.
