A RoLlrcoaster ride

We were standing in my balcony
enjoying the dawn
and from the east came a breeze
 that took us along.
Decades have past by,
and we are still together
heading towards different paths of life
and yet trying to reach that common destination.
Look back,
I see what all we've left,
And what all are we taking together.
I can't defy this pace, 
but can enjoy this roller coaster ride 
sitting beside you,
for decades to past by,
